CARLA is an international conference whose objective is to provide a forum to foster the growth and strength of the High Performance Computing (HPC) community in Latin America by exchanging and disseminating new ideas, techniques, and research in HPC and its application areas. It started in 2014, after joining the CLCAR Conference (created in 2006) and HPC LatAm (created in 2009). CARLA is a non-profit activity organized by volunteers and supported mainly by SCALAC and RedCLARA. In 2023, RISC2 support the conference.
