Pascal Hoba Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the UbuntuNet Alliance Graduated in business law from Law school of Aix en Provence, France he also holds a Masters Degree and PhD in Scientific and Technical Information from the University of Marseilles in France where he also worked as Lecturer in Information Communication from between 1999 and 2005. Since 2005 Dr Hoba was Director of Knowledge Management Information and Communications in the Association of African Universities (AAU) in Accra, Ghana. In his role at the AAU, Dr Hoba was also Coordinator of the Europe-Africa quality Connect project and the Database of African Theses and Dissertations (DATAD) programme. He is credited for initiating the Open Access process with the DATAD programme as a regional repository center. |

Donatella Castelli OpenAIRE Technical Coordinator Donatella Castelli is a Senior Researcher working at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). She has been the principal investigator of several European and International funded projects on digital libraries and data e-Infrastructures acquiring considerable experience in these domains. She is currently the technical director of OpenAIRE, the Open Access infrastructure for Research in Europe. She is also the scientific director of the D4Science data infrastructure and coordinator of the EU BlueBRIDGE project. She is a member of Research Data Alliance Europe promoting research and cross-infrastructure coordination at global level. Her scientific interests are centered on data modeling, data interoperability and data infrastructures. |

Kathleen Shearer Executive Director, Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR) COAR is an international association of repository initiatives launched in October 2009, located in Gottingen, Germany- with a membership of over 100 institutions worldwide from 36 countries in 5 continents. Its mission is to enhance the visibility and application of research outputs through a global network of open access digital repositories.Shearer has her Masters of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) and has been working in the areas of open access and research data management and digital libraries for over a decade. She is a Research Associate with the Canadian Association of Research Libraries and a consultant with Research Data Canada working on issues of policy, infrastructure and training for research data management. She is also co-chair of two international interest groups with the Research Data Alliance: Long Tail of Research Data and Libraries for Research Data. In addition, Shearer is a Partnership Consultant with the Association of Research Libraries in the United States. |

In order to enable an iCal export link, your account needs to have an API key created. This key enables other applications to access data from within Indico even when you are neither using nor logged into the Indico system yourself with the link provided. Once created, you can manage your key at any time by going to 'My Profile' and looking under the tab entitled 'HTTP API'. Further information about HTTP API keys can be found in the Indico documentation.
Additionally to having an API key associated with your account, exporting private event information requires the usage of a persistent signature. This enables API URLs which do not expire after a few minutes so while the setting is active, anyone in possession of the link provided can access the information. Due to this, it is extremely important that you keep these links private and for your use only. If you think someone else may have acquired access to a link using this key in the future, you must immediately create a new key pair on the 'My Profile' page under the 'HTTP API' and update the iCalendar links afterwards.
