RedCLARA invites technical members from its associated National Research and Education Networks to send proposals to become candidates of the NORDUnet Emerging NREN Fellowship Programme 2018.
The NORDUnet Conference 2018 (NDN2018) will take place in Elsinore, Denmark on 18-20 September 2018. The NORDUnet Conference is an event that takes place every two years, and brings together users and staff from the Nordic NRENs, from NORDUnet, and from a large number of R&E Networks from around the world.
An important focus of the NORDUnet Conference is to foster collaboration among NRENs by hosting topical workshops on current issues for NRENs. It is intended that by building on this Conference, we can offer staff members from Emerging NRENs the opportunity to build personal networks with the Nordic R&E community and technical staff of Nordic NRENs.
Therefore the Fellowship programme for NDN2018 allows for four regionally identified staff members from Emerging NRENs, offering:
• Travel and accommodation for participating in the NORDUnet Conference 2018, as well as additional days to interact with NORDUnet and the Nordic NREN community.
• Full access to the NORDUnet Conference 2018
• Structured workshops on areas of interest to Emerging NREN staff members.
• Human networking events to strengthen the relationship with NORDUnet and Nordic NREN staff members.
• Named “Go To” Point of Contact for an Emerging NREN staff member to continue interaction also after returning from Denmark.
