The MAGIC project is being implemented by a consortium of Regional Education & research networks (RENs) and National R&E networks (NRENs) around the world from 20 countries and regions, including the Caribbean.

The consortium was established to collaborate and share the advanced technology and software that will allow research mobility, real-time communications, share applications, social management, education and other knowledge-sharing resources, developed by academic institutions and NRENs globally, to be available and shared by countries and regions, such as in the Caribbean, Africa, Central and South America.

► Training Objectives:
-to introduce the collaborative tools and platforms - eduroam, Federated Identity and eduGAIN
-to train the institutions’ technology representatives in the requisite tools and skills to support collaboration
-to Plan for eduroam in Caribbean
-to consider Beyond eduroam  eduGAIN


► The enviro-health seminar intends to:
• introduce the collaborative tools and platform, Colaboratorio
• share potential funding opportunities for collaborative initiatives
• present and share research findings, project initiatives on relevant climate change, water and resultant healthcare issues in the Caribbean
• stimulate greater collaboration of these communities of interest and practice through global contacts and the technological platforms and tools provided by the MAGIC project
• develop collaborative project and/or research ideas based on concerns or gaps and tailored to potential funding
